I am guessing it will be the K.I.T.T car from the Knight Rider series,as these are out at retail here across the pond.Leave a comment:

Is there a Hot Wheels car for 2012 of the collector variety, such as they did with the Batmobile, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters last year? Didn't see anything like it so far.Leave a comment:

Has anyone seen these at retail? It's a nice set, seen one at my local Toys R Us and could not resist it.

The age difference has to do with the fact that the Nostalgia cars are part of the collector series- higher price, premium wheels, etc.Leave a comment:

Those are cool! I dig the HKP and the MM looks like a sweet ride.I seen the HOT WHEELS HANNA-BARBERA cartoon cars a couple of days ago at Wally's. All they had left was Hong Kong Phooey and another one that I already forgot what it was.
The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine looks like a real keeper.
On a totally different note I just ran across these on entertainmentearth.com
Hot Wheels Rock Band Tour Haulers

You have to be 8 years old to play with these but only 3 years old to play with the GL car??

Bumping this because I saw the cartoon ones at Kroger. Why did the Jetsons get a bus?Leave a comment:

Hal did drive one in the movie, which Hot Wheels released in it's authentic colors last summer.

I finally saw them. Well, three of them. Joker, Superman, and Green Lantern. The only one that made sense to me was GL. Hal would probably drive a Dodge Challenger. I guess these change colour in cold water or something but I'm not taking it out of the package.Leave a comment:

Regular Hot Wheels here are sitting at .87 and .97 respectively. These cars are $4.99 each. Yeah too much. You can get an Arkham Asylum Batmobile for less than a buck but a gaudy paint job on a milk truck will cost you four bucks more. No thanks. If that four pack had been character specific vehicles I would have been all over it, especially after Christmas when all the unsold stock went on clearance at Wal-Mart, but random car number three with a Batman picture on it can forget about it, especially at that price.Leave a comment:

I picked up the GL and Supes (still wearing his red trunks!)...passed on the Joker cuz the card art sucksLeave a comment:

I saw the new DC ones and passed. The cheapskate in me doesn't want to pay an extra $2 or more for packaging. I mean really, how different are these from regular Hot Wheels?
If they were accurate to some version of the character, I'd gladly fork it over, but not just for graphics.

I saw the new DC cars hanging at TRU- didn't pick any up though.
I'm looking for the newest wave of Hot Wheels Nostalgia cars- Hannah Barbera. There are 6 vehicles: Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Flint Stones, Hong Kong Phooey, Jetsons, Yogi Bear.Leave a comment:
