Picked one up yesterday and got her out last night to run. Lots of fun, but a few surprises in it's manufacturing. While it "looks" like it's die-cast counterpart, it actually is made of plastic and...get this...rubber! Yes. The tail fins are rubber. Even the rocket launchers are rubber. You can bend them! I guess that was a insightful move since most remote control vehicles end up bumping into objects. This spares the vehicle from taking on any premature damage. Fun toy and pretty durable.

I'm glad you had fun playing with your Batmobile, mon frere. Just don't terrorize the dogs with it too much or they turn their Green Lantern powers loose on it!!!!

Sounds like that is the way to go. It's $45 at my local TRU. Really not sure why it's so high. I would expect it to be in the $30 range for its size.

It's interesting how you couldn't get the Barris Batmobile for decades and now their shoving it down your throat with every variation known to man. It's been a fun ride though. I'll likely fold and get this.

I saw one at TRU yesterday in a badly damaged box. Even had a hole underneath and paint missing off the front of the car where the packaged was damaged on the side. But they would not discount it. So I passed. Cheap a$$es...
