Bowen Statue Question

I'm putting together a collection of the original five X-Men. I just need the beast. My question is which of the two beast statues is a better representation (more or less) for that costume era: The Jim Lee looking one or the Byrne(?) Avengers looking one? I'm conflicted on which one to use (money being an issue I can't get both) What do you think?
