Bandai Peller Models
I've recently discovered Bandai's Peller Model kits.
Man are these things FUN. They are flat-ish ABS plastic jointed figures which allow you to place stickers of yourself or anyone to make a custom self. They come with templates and ink jet printable stickers. Stands too.
Bought a couple of sets from HobbyLink Japan (not available in the USA, but shipping from Japan is rather reasonable. I've paid more for shipping from a US seller!)
I got the Adult and the Child kits... and made these:
That's me and my husband, Jim (I'm 5'3" and rather chunky, and he's 6'3" and quite thin.) and the adult and child size kits fit us perfectly.
The flash washed out the pics a little so it's hard to tell... I'm wearing flaming Superman logo pj pants and my favorite faded Superman shirt.
Of course I've got plans for ARMIES of little guys. I just need to order a bunch.
I like the child sized ones best, and they make for cute Chibi sized celebrities...
