Cool, glad to hear it. I was hoping I was wrong.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Breaking: BiffBangPow! to Release Venture Brothers Toys

It's an epic day in toyland, while it's not neccesarily a retro property, Venture Brothers sure as heck feels like one and in addition, I consider it to be one of the best shows on TV currently:

Manufacturer and Cartoon Network Enterprises Announce a New Line of Action Figures, Bobble Heads, and Vehicles Based on the Adult Swim Series, The Venture Bros.LOS ANGELES, CA (January 7, 2010) – Bif Bang Pow! and Cartoon Network Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising arm of Adult Swim, blast off for action with today’s partnership announcement that will bring to market a brand-new line of toys based on the popular animated series The Venture Bros. One of the most highly sought after product lines from Adult Swim’s library, The Venture Bros. collection from Big Bang Pow! will feature an array of articulated action figures, bobble heads, and vehicles, each embodying that distinctive action-comedy mix that has become synonymous with the series.First to be released from the line is a series of 7-inch scale resin bobble heads targeted for spring 2010. Action figures are scheduled to hit the market in the summer of 2010. These fully-articulated figures will include the series most popular and recognizable characters including Dr. Venture, The Monarch, Brock Samson, Hank & Dean Venture and more. Several exclusives are also in the works.

More detailed information about the products will be made available in the coming weeks."We've been courting The Venture Brothers for quite some time now, and we're beyond excited to finally bring fans what they want: a range of fully articulated action figures and bobble heads," said Jason Lenzi, CEO of Bif Bang Pow! "With the ever-expanding cast of characters in the Venture universe, the possibilities are endless. It's about time someone made some action figures based on the show. This is going to be great!"

I've heard of them but have never watched them. Are they on Cartoon Network? If so that's probably way....I avoid CN now like the plague. Tend more toward Boomerang but even that feels like it's being invaded by CN from time to time...

They are on Cartoon Network in the Adult Swim block. It appeals more towards a younger demo, but you would probably enjoy it if you like Johnny Quest. It's largely a parody of that... Although that's really selling the show short. It's a mashup of all kinds of things, with plenty of action and good storytelling mixed with irreverent humor.

It's not like any of the other shows on Adult Swim.

Venture Bros. is a really well done series - they even mention megos in an episode.
"This is made from a mego Falcon".

I am really thrilled about this announcement. The look of the characters really
lend themselves to the mego style for a new generation.

My 25 year old nephew loves the show and has the DVDs. I try to watch it
whenever I can, but without a DVR or a Tivo, I miss some episodes.

I guess I have to borrow his DVDs or get my own set.

It doesn't spoof Johnny Quest, it's a spin-off! Johnny has been in a few episodes. Action Junkie!
