The Filmation She-Ra reveal is fantastic. I'm happy with my Masterverse figure, but it'll be nice to have this figure in league with the other Origins & CC versions.

I like the majority of MOTU figures except for Rotar and Twistoid which I've never bothered to hunt down.

I like Ninjor--and Slamurai. I collected nearly the whole line originally, and some later figures (The Rock People, Extendar, Rio Blast, Dragstor, the movie stuff except Saurod, and the top-figures) left me cold. But Origins actually improved Stonedar, and I'm in for the long haul. I've always liked Blast-Attak. And for me, the thought of getting Origins version of Laser-Light He-Man and Skeletor is exciting. Modulok is fantastic.

    I bought Extendar, I'm weak.

"Dumb" is the exact reason I got Ninjor despite the fact that he falls outside of my collecting focus with this line, which is mainly '82-'84.

I don't like some of the later vintage figures either--for example, Extendar. But favorites, and "cooless", are subjective. I would be willing to forgo Origins versions of the movie figures, but some want and expect those.

Slow as it may be, I appreciate Mattel's promise to complete a line. And regardless, nothing has changed with Origins--still many customizing options, still characters pulled from many media and variations.

Regarding POP, if one likes the franchise, cartoon Origins seems to be the sole forthcoming option.

Um, yeah, Pixel Dan's newest SDCC video has a very click bait title. No, Mattel is not giving away MOTU. As announced at comic con they are licensing the 2002 designs to Mondo for an expensive adult collector line in the 6 inch scale. Mondo SDCC 2024 1/12 Scale Masters of the Universe (200x) Figures (toynewsi.com) Pixel Dan is speculating a $60 price point. I think that's being optimistic giving Mondo's pricing. These are not going to be mass market figures and are not in competition with Mattel's 6 inch $22 Masterverse line.

The Walmart timed exclusive Origins Lord Gr’Asp and Terroar and now available to preorder on BBTS for those interested! I already have both and really like them.

Swift Wind is a lot more popular than Night Stalker.

It was disappointing Swifty didn't get made in Origins as was the lack of POP. But we will end up getting a much better articulated version in the Cartoon Collection and going by the hint on the Collector box a Swift Wind is coming.

Night Stalker was terribly overpriced. But most MOTU beasts and vehicles hit closeout, yes.

Swift-Wind would probably fare better if it included a variant-She-Ra--in light of the anniversary and the paucity of She-Ra releases so far.

Look no further than Night Stalker still being available at Mattel Creations as to why Swift Wind hasn’t been made yet. Beasts don’t sell as well and if people don’t support the releases, why would Mattel make them? I want them to make everything, but they have to hit profit goals too.
