Okay this is a bit of a copycat thread , but Boris71 and his Movies Toy thread got me thinking. I do hate doing threads like this because it stirs up debate that usually goes south, or just get's people frustrated but here goes. What are the 10 Action Figures lines You would have liked to see or would still look to buy today if someone would take a chance producing. It can be anything from Movies , Cartoons, Comics, and from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's through today. Here's in my opinion what I would certainly buy knowing the likelyhood I could probably never see them......
1. Jaws (Figures - 3.75", 5", 8")
Mego could have done these on 8" bodies and used the Aquaman Shark. The Mcfarlane Movie Maniac of just the shark do not cut it.
2. Back To The Future (Figures - 3.75", 5" , 8")
This was well after Mego's prime, but I would have liked to see some figures made for a film like this. Accessories would be cool too. The Mini Mates do not cut it.
3. Captain N The Gamemaster (Figures - 5", 8")
I really liked this cartoon , It was cool to see Nintendo characters , and video game characters interacting in a alternate universe of Video games. Sadly this was not a mass commercial hit , and lasted only 2 seasons. Although I know this has a big cult following, and the DVD set was realesed a few years ago.
4. Underworld. (Figures - 5", 8", 12")
This film really needed a decent toy line. The Mezco figures are dissapointing. After 3 films now that have done fairly well I am still surprised no one has picked this up.
5. Spaceballs - (Figures - 5", 8")
I am not sure there was ever any figures on this but how could you not ?????
6. ALF (5", 8")
I have the PVC figures, plush by Coleco,and some animated series figures from Burger King, but it would be cool to see some mego like figures of the Tanner family , and Alf.
7. Teen Wolf (8")
I Would love to see mego like figures of Scott, Styles, Pamela and so on.
8. Garbage Pail Kids (5", 6")
Growing Up I loved these sticker cards to no end. I am even still chasing down a near mint/mint series 1 card set. How cool would it be to see these in all their disgusting glory in plastic form ? ( yes you can customize a Cabbage Patch Doll , and disfigure them beyond all belief, but where's the figures not the plush dolls ??? )
