I'd take A, with the orange bar stools please.

I have no place to put it, and would probably never use it, but for some reason I want it.

Like others have said, there is something about that is just imprinted on our DNA.
Everyone back then, either had one, or wanted one.

I never did understand decanters though.
My mom and dad had them of course. In some fancy holder thing, that I think played music when you pulled on out. Which was cool when I was a little kid of course.
But really, I never understood what was wrong with just serving straight from the bottle?

    I LOL'd

As I get older, my palette changes, and I get a taste for stuff I couldn't stomach when I was younger. Rye whiskey, and gin and tonic for example.

^^ My dad locked two of those "Bar" lamps down too!

Where I'm from, pretty much all working class families were striving to have a 8 track hi-fi, pool table, leather furniture and one of these tricked-out bars. Ahh, the American dream was alive and well!

Yeah, we had one, hand crafted by my father. Ice bucket, utensils, swizzle sticks, lamp which said "Bar" on the spherical glass shade... the works.

(Edit: Example of a lamp similar to the one we had... after a quick search it seems there were so many of these with the same shade but a great many different bases.)

Now that you mention it, around the mid 70's is when our local drive-in/ice cream parlor stopped carrying candy cigarettes
