I've always wondered how these kits would looked with washes wiped off to bring out the detail but still let them glow... I think that's how I might try to build them up. Just a few fully-painted outlines or details.

No...the eyes are so small and the teeth are mostly hidden, so I just painted everything. I will probably just put together an unpainted one at some point to enjoy the glow!

Will definitely be keeping my eyes open for those releases.

    Great job on this kit.
I can't tell from the angle, but did you do the seam work on it?
I started this kit a while back, thinking it would be a nice quick build. When I saw the seams though, it kind of put the brakes on the project. Lots of detail to resculpt in that hair.
I did a little bit of seam work. I'm not too picky about seams. I eliminate them when possible, minimize them when not, and sometimes you just have to live with them. To me they're not worth sacrificing any sculpted detail.

I actually have a little surprise to share...I've hired a sculptor to create two more series of Haunted Glo-Heads, which will be cast in glow resin.
Based on my original designs, look for the Witch, Phantom, Aqua-Beast, Visitor, Frankenstein, Devil, Creeper, and Insectoid beginning in 2019!

No...more of a realistic take on the Scooby Doo character crossed with a zombie/ghoul.

My least favorite kit of the series, but you make it look so good.

Your eye for detail never ceases to amaze me. The teeth alone....

The fact that you're able to achieve your results without airbrush is astonishing.

Great job! Very clean. I love it.

I just picked up a vinyl Creature from the black lagoon from eBay. It's a 12". It looks like it will be a good build. I just need to design a base and if I want to just weight the feet, attach them to the base or use magnets to keep him in place.

These are great fun little kits with a surprising amount of detail.

I decided to go for a realistic approach...very happy with the result.
