Help identifying....

Looks like it came with a black smaller version mego Star Trek phaser.

It's a standalone line made by a different company. You'll find them showing up in Micronauts collections since they were similar and were out around the same time.

A neighbor got me one of those for Christmas one year. A gold robot with a red jetpack, as I recall. He got a lot of play as a fill-in villain, and even Robotman from the Doom Patrol!

Those are really neat. A friend of mine turned me on to them in the late very late 70s or around 1980. We had a brand new mall, which had a KB Toys. He told me they were there and I proceeded to get two or three. Oddly, that’s they only store I ever saw them in.

Metal man is the name of the line. It's by Zee Toys or sometimes Zymlex.

But can not figure out how to post a picture.
It came in a box with some Micronauts.
It is a Silver Spaceman with White boots and USA flag on chest.
All metal and all limbs articulate like a Micronaut.

Any ideas?
