Fantastic! Well, since going down this rabbit hole I have (after some extreme scouring of the net) found complete scans of issues 1-4. I have also just purchased Volume 3 of the German comic set to get issues 5 & 6. Luckily for me, I just happen to know German...however, I still want to translate the text to English. So we'll see how that goes. In any case, I fully intend to have read issues 1-6 in the near future here, and then I can rest my case fully satisfied.

I think the German editions of the Black Hole comics also include the stories from issues 5 and 6 !

There were 3 volumes. Volume 1 was the complete movie adaptation and volumes 2 and 3
contained the stories "on the other side of the black hole". There were two stories in each volume.
Each volume was 48 pages. This is what the covers look like:

The German title was "Das Schwarze Loch" ("schwarz" = black, "Loch" = hole ).
The one on the right is volume 3 ("Heft 3" in German). It should contain the stories from original issue 5 and 6.

Searching the web I found this interesting thread in another forum:
    https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/top...ssues-5-amp-6/

In that thread there are pictures of two black and white pages (original art?) from the issue 6 story ("The Return of Rheinhardt").
Those two pages can be found in volume 3 of the German edition and the story title is the same ("Reinhardts Rückkehr" in German).

The German edition has a few drawbacks, though:
    1. It's in German language of course .
    2. The text is machine-lettered (not hand-lettered).
    3. It doesn't have the original cover art.

Yeah, gotta look into finding online copies of them. Luckily I have people who can find it for me,lol! May take some time though. I'll get back to it when I get it.

And yeah, there's some really great stuff out there if you just look for it. Guess I have to do the same for another movie with a VERY small fanbase that I loved back in the day, lol!

Wow...I had the bagged 3-pack when I was a kid, and was really immersed in #3 where it told the story of what happened when they went BEYOND the black hole. But then it ended abruptly, and I figured that was all I'd ever get to read of the story. Now I find there actually *was* another issue published - and of course, it's crazy hard to find and can go for hundreds of dollars. And then I find out there's not just a fourth issue, but a FIFTH and SIXTH issue published (albeit in Spanish only!).

Young me and older me are both dying to find out what happens after issue #3. I don't care about actually owning copies of them all (though that would be nice); I just want to read them. And I'll even translate the Spanish in #5 and #6 to do it.

Issue number 4 is one of those weird books that fly under everyone's radar. I have seen copies first hand sell recently for as little as $20 at an antique mall while on eBay the prices are in the mid-hundreds. Most folks don't realize they have a rare comic. I'm positive that up here in the Ontario part of Canada that bagged set was sold in a chain store like Bi-Way cause like Brian, I remember seeing it as a kid.

Here's a little replica mockup silliness I did for a friend who thought he hit the motherload with that $20 purchase.

Your wish is my command! I noticed first now that the prices are in GBP,so kinda pricey for the stickers and sticker album, but not too bad for a box of movie trading cards. Here's the link:

I also like the Caltex Service Station Giant Wall Poster stuff, lol! You can see it here:

Following the success of Star Wars - Walt Disney Productions produced The Black Hole in 1979. I saw it first in 1981 when my school (Boston ...

I have all the trading cards and stickers but no sticker book so I'll take that link. I can't remember if it was battlestar galactica or black hole that had multiple sets

It's not a joke, lol! Google it and you'll see. Or just take a look at this site:

This is another of the well documented rare Whitman comics only available in multi-packs

And do you have the movie trading cards? And Panini sticker album with the movie stickers to put in them? Do you want a link to where you can see them, and even buy them? lol!

Watched the movie not too long ago,and still love it. Wish I still had my comics and toys and such. Oh well.

They did. First in US newspapers, the in various forms. The French hardcover edition is the best IMO, if you don't mind it being in French.
