Very cool Toystalker! I picked this up loose(incomplete-missing hatch lid) about a month ago, I knew at the time that I recognised it from somewhere, but took me a couple of days to place it. A very unique design.
Do you have any of the BEAST MACHINES? they're my favorite from this line (sorta spin-off).I just won a boxed THRASH off the bay, $66 but $23 shipping.
I don't know why they're not more popular, very interesting toys.

Didn't Junes Toyfare just do a story on this line? I didn't know Wayne Barlowes pics were used to design the figures.

I've got a couple of the Beast Machines, the half-tank-half-man guys, they're slightly bigger than MOTU, I thought that the "regular" line of Power Lords were more in tune with 3 3/4" figures as I've seen them in some mixed lots and they seemed smaller than MOTU to me.

Power Lords figures are closer to MOTU scale than SW. I know of the figures just never got into to really collecting them. I'm pretty sure I stil have an old Revell dealer catalog that has pics of everything that got made. Neat looking toys.

    Power Lords Beast Machines

Does anybody collect or is anybody familiar with these toys? They're an obsure spin-off of an already somewhat obscure line of toys. You may be familiar with the 3 3/4" power lords (Lord Power, Shaya, Sydot,Gripptogg etc) which had a 3 issue run of comics. The "Beast Machines", not to be confused with Transformers of the same name, were made by Revell after the initial power lords line in the early 80's. 4 different characters, one he-man type, one robot type and two monster/alien types. Bottom portion of these guys is like a tank. There was a 80's movie called "The Eliminators" that had a character like this as did an x-men comic. I see maybe 4 a year on ebay, I discovered them by accident when I found one in a thriftshop. Anybody?
