A complete lack of care I imagine. They also made a Hawkman and Green Lantern that all looked like they let themselves go. The Riddler in this line has a head the size of a baseball.

So many of those Toy Biz 10" figures suffered from using sculpts meant for the smaller toyline!

The CAH get a bad rap from the lack of paint ops (the headsculpts save for early Wonder Woman have tons of detail) and a bad pose but they were some of the earliest action figures out there.

I'd say the worst are the toybiz DC heroes, taking the molds of some of the nicest figures produced (SuperPowers) and making them look like Mexican knockoffs. Way to take it down a notch, Toybiz.

Or what about the She Hulk figure that's just a (Lousy) Xena doll painted Green? The 10" figure of "The Spot"? Nice and phoned in with no detail.

It was great to get previously unproduced characters like Huntress, Blue Beetle and Black Lightning in this line, as well as new characters such Zuriel, Impulse, Conner Hawke and Kyle Rayner. It's unfortunate that the poses and lack of articulation weren't so hot. I felt the same way about the sculpts and lack of posability with Secret Wars compared to Super Powers.

Have to agree about CA Wonder Woman as well.

Mego's Comic Action Heroes. Cripes, even the 3 3/4 A-Team line were better action figures.

    Those were the worst.

I brought them up by accident in the DC Direct "worst" thread.

When I think of bad action figures, I think of those---

    and, you know what?

The sad thing is---- at the time --there were so little superhero figures
out on the market that I actually was happy with them

It was cool to unload them on Ebay and get a decent price

The bidding was probably pumped up because I had so many loose and
    complete

    Hmmmm....

I'd go with pretty much ALL the late 80's/early 90's Batman figures. Repaint after repaint after repaint.... "No, he's "Tiger Cammo Chrome Justice Batman!!!"

*sigh* HOW many Batmnas does a person need, anyhoo?

I got to say if I'm measuring a superhero figure line against any marginal expectation, I think the little Spiderman 3 movie figures were easily the worst of any line made and not at all deserving of the price Hasbro asked.

Brue I agree CAH WW has got to be the worst figure! She looks like a man or she-hulk WW! Maybe John Bryne had something to do with it, His WW looked like she-hulk! LOL!

Bonebreaker is definitely bad. I rember Toys R Us having him an K'ylun in the shevles marked down to $1.99 5 years after their release.

That Toy Biz Lex is Terrible. - I agree that Forearm is not bad - neither is the original version of Storm

    How about FC Daredevil?

    Hulk's Zaxx?

Even though it may be blasphemy here - the mego CAH were all pretty bad esp WW.
