Thanks for the Shout out.
Thanks for dropping a line about my shop. It was great to speak with you. I have been trying to aquire more vintage toys for the shop. I hope you will stop in again when you are at the market again. Have a Happy 4th!
Many Thanks, Paul, the TOY ROOM
Mostly what he said. I spent last Saturday getting a sunburn at one. After the better part of an hour I spot a sign that says "Toy Room" proclaiming vintage toys in one of onsite buildings (actually that was unique a indoor/an outdoor market combined). I finally ventured in there and say a few Megos (many with repro parts) and reMego in one of the display cases. Took a sloppy shot with my camera phone. I took home the gloveless Robin for parts.

Putting out the call for unsold Jar Jar merchandise sightings
Flea Market Gold: Treasures n' Trash: Send in your Jar Jar sightings
I know it's weird to read "wanted" and "Jar Jar" in the same sentence but there it is.Leave a comment:

Can you just imagine the wonderfully weird stuff that could show up?Leave a comment:

Flea markets here are now Redneck Mini-Malls for the most part. All new crap no one wants. For vintage we have to go to antique malls.
How I miss the old Georgetown Flea Market of my youth. My introduction to so many good nerdy things, comics in almost every booth...sigh.

The spousal overunit departs for the land of the rising sun this weekend. I just need to stop by Costco to pick up that industrial sized tub of hand sanitizer and I'm ready for this season's pilgrimages to the land of misfit everythings (with snack bar).
It's like Bizarro Christmas, in the summer.Leave a comment:

I just checked this out for the first time, very cool! Oddly enough, I just came back from a flea market store in town that actually has MEGOS. The first time Megos have graced a store shelf in this town in 30 years, I assure you.
Those Guliver figures are killer.
