The CAR GAME toy testers at my house

If THE CAR game really was available at my house with my boys it would be something perhaps like this.

I currently have The Car on my DVR, still have to watch it (even though I have seen it and pieces of it in the past). It's incredible that such an out of the way movie got a Kenner toy

But then I see it's from Universal, they probably offered the rights for a song along with the license of The Bionic Woman and Kenner saw they could reuse a ramp mold from the STP cars and there you go.

Holly cow that is super cool!
I have a large Dicast of "THE CAR" that was limited but I never saw this!
I MUST FIND and if not I WILL MAKE ONE as a tribute to this set.

    Great. Now I want one....
I loved that movie as a kid. Only recently picked up the DVD.

    Poor James Brolin.
First he gets attacked by The Car.
Then he has to confront The Amityville Horror.
    Then he marries Barbara Streisand....

Talk about a run of bad luck....

That's a pretty solid theory, probably the most logical as to why they took the gamble.

So Kenner was taking chances on stuff like this long before Alien?
