Was there ever a Superman pez dispenser made?

I always chalked it up to a lack of Supes not having distinguishable features. Sure he has the "S" curl, but without his cape and especially his chest symbol, he could just be...Elvis or someone.

Of course, now many Pez have bust-like sculpts, so maybe they'll go that way.

Walgreen's has it you get them cheaper if you buy two of them. It's something like $1.79 if you buy one but if you buy 2 it's $3.

They finally made one Hector, I just got it at Michael's.

I never could understand why there isn't one. I just got finished with an idea I've had for a while where I could use mego heads to the top of a pez. When pez wanted to make the first superhero's they sent a set of mego's to the factory for samples and the pez had vinyl heads just like mego's. The bust section is cast in resin, pop in a repro supes head, add cloth logo and you're done. This still functions like a factory made pez. I really like the way this turned out and have plans to make the other mego hero's.

Spider-Man, Hulk, Wonder Woman, Batman.... all characters with TV shows airing in the 70's (Batman of course in syndication reruns)... Superman: No tv show.

Who knows what kind of crap the movie studios pulled in terms of Merchandising.

I hope (if they finally make one) they place his S emblem on the bust...that would dismiss the Elvis look...

The one they were suppose to release was to have the S emblem. On the plus side,they put the bat emblem on the newer Batman. That leads me to believe if and when they ever get around to Superman,he'll have the S emblem.
