One of my all time favorite vehicles from 1970s is Mr Action Helicopter. It's probably my favorite because someone assembled it in the KMART toy isle and left it lying there where I could play with it for a few minutes.
I just won it on Ebay, so I snapped a few quick pics and here it is with a new Gijoe and Big Jim Eagle for scale.

I'll keep looking. It was somebody's blog and it was in English. It mentioned the Abenteuer stuff, which is 1/6 knock off stuff as well. I got the impression the guy was focusing on German and other European knock offs. The Atomic Man guy was made by Zapf Creations I believe, which is company that exists now, making baby doll stuff.

There is a blog/site that I can't find right now 'cause I didn't think of bookmarking it
It has Meks stuff and 1/6 stuff, I think it's mostly from Germany/Europe. The coolest piece is this 1/6 guy Atomic Man. You really have to see it if you can find it.

I think welo is Big Jim scale.
Dickie is 1/6 outfits But since the feet of the active man & such are small they use Lone Ranger & Big Jim boots

A few months ago I saw an auction in Germany for some "wilder westen" outfits by welo. I'm not sure if they were 1/6 or Big Jim scale now, as I visited another site that mentions them alongside Dickie and other knock-offs you guys are talking about.
Did you guys ever see these welo outfits?

I've seen pictures of the Dickie Mountie Uniform on an Action Man, so I assume they're 1/6.

Yeah, they are from 74-78 and these books showcase most of the major toy manufacturers. Every single one of them has a KO joe of some sort. BARTER has 3-5 page spreads in all of them, so it'll take me some time as these are also tabloid sized brochures.
