my brother and I got the death star in 78 it was compeletely destryoed by 83. I bought a replacement a few years ago but it's put away till my son is older and I won't have to worry about it it was fragile in 77 -

I got the Sears Cantina AND the Death Star for Christmas '78. BLUE snaggletooth was the ONLY version of the character I ever knew! It wasn't until I was a collector/adult that I knew of the more common RED one!Leave a comment:

I still have the cardboard Cantina in minty condition. Stored flat all these years.. I bought it from my friend whose mom bought him ALL the stuff. One of the few Kenner items I still have...

I didn't hear tell of the Sears exclusive Cantina playset until my adult years and I think the first time I've ever heard of "action figure variants" was this blue suited Snaggle Tooth.
Even though he's tall and I never had him as a kid, he's just one of those things that makes my nerdy little heart go pitter patter.....
