A while ago on Ebay I found a pattern for sale. It was being sold by a little old lady who made an Adam West Batman suit for her son's GI Joe when the TV show was originally on.
I wanted to get it and my on again off again girlfriend ( who sews better than me) asked " Yeah but if you could have ANY Superhero costume what would it be?"
I thought of some of my own characters I have created for comic strips and paintings over the years. Mostly Humorous guys. Then I thought about how much I really loved the costumes at the begining of Mystery Men.
But then I came across Plaid Stallions and I know.
The Adventure team in REAL Funky 1970s flair! Denim jumpsuits flowery shirts, huge collars. Admit it other than A couple of jumpsuits the ATeam clothes were blah.
And if I ever do get that much lusted after Headquarters I know just what kind of sea foam green carpet and brown checkered curtains to put up!
