I have a Tigerman figure with a very weak o-ring that needs to be replaced. The problem is that I can't take him apart due to a stripped and rusty screw. Any ideas?

Send Craig at ZICA a PM. He might be able to help you out.
I just realized you were talking about the smaller figures; D'OH!
Umm...let me see...there's supposed to be a method for grabbing stripped screws, or at least a tool for doing it.
Crud....I can't think of it!
*Sigh* Sorry dude, I wish I could be of more help.Last edited by JediJaida; Mar 13, '11, 4:02 PM.JediJaida -
You can pick up a screw-extractor from Sears for about $10.00 - these are handy to have; they come in different sizes and fit on the end of a cordless (or corded) drill. I've found them to work best with a variable speed cordless so that you can control the rpms.
Another trick that I've used in the past (before discovering the screw-extractors) is to put a drop of superglue gel on the tip of the screwdriver and then fit it into the head of the screw in question giving it a few moments to dry. Doesn't always work the first time, but I've had success with it. Also, this works best for phillips head screws since there is more surface for the glue to bite on. Good luck...Comment
