I'm in. There were two big obstacles which have been overcome. The first was, with all the issues my car was having I simply didn't trust it to take the drive. After 188,000 miles I finally decided to give up on it and now have new (welll new to me), issue free car I can't wait to break in. The other was a last minute surprise from work. Uusally we'd be doing one of our inventories the first week in June. Well, they had the same idea as MM and an E-mail was sent saying itwas June 11 this year! So I basically begged an pleaded for it to moved up or down a week, noting how many times I've come through in a pinch for the comapny and I didn't want to miss this. Our operations manager and VP came through for me as a follow up E-mail was sent today indicating the inventory was moved to June 18th. Of course I immediately put in for the vacation time and booked my room. I'll be there Thursday and it can't come soon enough now.

It really depends, there have been alot of things going on around here that are about to drive me crazy, lack of funds is one of them. Is there any word about the deal with the hotel this year? I certainly hope I can make it but I just don't know.

I plan on being there with someone in tow, probably my daughter, maybe the better half, slight chance of both. Work be da**ed, unless they say different.

How can I turn down a wonderful 12 hour drive through the scenic nothingness of PA with an occasionally dozing off John Michaels? The chance to see the sunrise out the window of the Mego Suite and the 12 foot crawl to my bed for a couple of hours of blissful slumber. Dinner at Hoss' Steakhouse. I'll be there Thursday afternoon as usual.
