I just got a painted lip Kirk from may251977
Seeing one up close and personal I noticed a couple things I don't think are mentioned on the MM site.
On this early piece Kirk has painted brown eyes and eyebrows along with the dark brown/black hair and pupil dot. Later paintings I think simply have all black eyes. I wonder if early Mr. Spock has brown painted eyes.
His shirt also appears to be the same ribbed yellow fabric used for early Aquamans.
Finally, I am not sure if it's wear or a different cut but the insignia cut looks a bit different then I am used to on Mego figures.
