Is there any info out there on the artists who sculpted heads for MEGO?
Speaking of head sculpts, here's a few of my stand outs;
HITS: Green Goblin- Pure Steve Ditko.
green arrow- Real Neal Adams vibe.Could have been perfect without the pupils.
Joker- Nailed the Carmine Infantino look.
Kirk- While not a perfect likeness of Shatner, I thought it captured the Captain's personality.
Thor, and Conan- Love em. I'm even ok with the doll hair
Misses: The Super Gals- Generic doll heads.Too bad the Invisible Girl sculpter didn't work on these.
Iron Man- What a beautiful figure! If MEGO had done the head right, they would have knocked this one out of the park.
Captain America- From head to toe, this figure was "phoned in". It's like they weren't even trying.Poor treatment for such an iconic character.
Aquaman- Look at that regal face.Look at that Roman nose.This is a great looking action fig.....WHAT THE?!....POINTY EARS?!! How did THAT get past DC?
