I love my Toyfare Magazine collection. I have always been more tuned in to the Mego pics and articles. In '97, I was waiting on that UPS strike, and Toyfare #2 finally arrived. I bought 2 copies the day it hit the shelves, with 2 different covers. I opened 1 of them, and saw the article on John Bonavita and Mego collecting. Wow. Wow wow wow. The article even advertised signed copies of his Schiffer "Mego Action Figure Toys" book. I still look back at that article and drool over the unproduced 12" Mego Dr. Strange. Off and on, I have been reseaching that unopened issue, and currently can not find it listed anywhere. I am curious if anyone else has it, or has seen this variant Onslaught cover. I scanned it here as an overlay, ontop of my opened copy. The Bonavita photospreads, Troy Younger's custom Filmation Megos, and the Twisted Mego Theatre are visual treats, but I wonder about this alternate cover. Is is rare?
