I'd love to do it. All I would need is a good scan of the front and the instruction panel and the rest I could piece together. I keep hoping

Then you should put an ad in the marketplace.

I still wonder if the transporter was actually vintage. I own a boxed Playmates 9" Sulu that was tweaked and altered for the episode of Will and Grace that guest starred George Takei and those prop departments can work some magic.

It is a vintage mint Spock in the episode. DST figured there was no harm in saying it was ours, but I could tell
watching the episode. And isn't that what makes us soooo geeky - that we could spot the difference in a TV
    show!

Did anyone see the Kirk figure on the other desk in the background? Seems like a pretty cool show...

Agreed.. and I kept thinking how awesome it would be if "Tiny Spock" was to make another appearance sometime, maybe alongside his good Mego captain.. I'm sure Shat would love to do it (if the price was right)

And yes, those Palitoy boxes were prop repros as any 70's era boxes would not have the white board backing.
My wife just sighed when I pointed this out

Another classic BIG BANG episode!! I've watched it three times since the original airing and it gets better each time.

I was thinking the same thing. And also I found myself wondering if a vintage Palitoy Transporter box would actually have a tape seal. God I'm a toy geek.

I'm already a fan of the show, but that was a great episode. Never in a million years would I have imagined that a network TV show would feature Mego products in such a huge way. That was great.

I'm sure the packaging was a repro, but I wonder if they fabricated the toys or actually found two. I hope the broken one was already broken!
It looks pretty authentic but I don't know. I think a real one would not have that large spring on the transporter tumbler.

P.S. Only one transporter out of box was ever shown.
