There was no unproduced EMCE astronaut, but if that's what you see when you look at that head, more power to you.

I know there was no EMCE Astronaut, that's why I said the figure was "unproduced"... But, at the time when the EMCE Apes figures were announced, a lot of people thought all of the original figures were going to be reissued but the line was cancelled before they could be (therefore the word "unproduced" comes into play).

I never said the Astronaut and the new figure were identical figures, but you can't deny there is a resemblance...

As far as a variant version for only mego members is that a possibility?

We plan to explore that option for both figures but have no clue currently.

I assume you mean a BM variant, not a SC variant. With BM there's a million different possibilities. Have a look through your PlaidStallions archive, I'm sure you can come up with something. Or maybe even have a poll with a dozen different outfits

already we are thinking up love interests for brick... villans for super collector

if we are going with a mm card theme

i was thinking of a snake/serpant type character

"cardzilla" he has a double side to him, collects cards in good faith then sells them on the slippery slimey auction sites
im thinking he looks a bit like a charcter from v, kraken snake slimey toad looking creature

my other idea is
"cardshark"
this double dealing swift handed card shark takes folks cards and sells them on for seedy profits... cardshark is a character with a sarky look on his face wears a suit and has a suitcase full of cards
