Great video! I loved all of it, but the highlight may have been those 3d renders by Figure Fiend. Absolutely stunning!
As to whether these 83 plans would have worked, I gotta agree with Werewolf. I just don't see these being successful. Die-cast figures feel great in your hands, but they tend not to pop visually... especially with the crude paintjobs Mego was using on Eagle Force and their other smaller figures. Not to mention, "but metal" just seems likes a weak gimmick.

Fantastic video, and I think I now understand what happened with Mego's misfortunes more clearly than ever before. I think it would have been neat to have gotten these, and I would definitely have bought them. But I would not trade them for the Super Powers line Werewolf mentioned above. MAYBE Secret Wars, but not Super Powers.Leave a comment:

A pretty amazing piece of history just not sure this would have saved them or not. I have to be honest; I would have passed on them as a kid. Same as I passed on Eagle Force for RAH. I think upgrading Pocket Heroes to RAH levels of sculpt, paint and articulation would have been better. The vehicles are also pretty generic. The market was clearly ready for more DC and Marvel with Super Powers and Secret Wars releasing only a year later. I just don't think this was the way to go.Leave a comment:
