O'Connell was great. Most of his obit headlines mentioned Trek. That's remarkable when a role you played almost 60 years ago is still so well remembered! It's kind of surprising that (as far as I know) none of the later Trek shows brought him back. And it was definitely his likeness on the Mego packaging.

Maybe not an official likeness, but ... William O'Connell, who played Thelev the Andorian, has passed at the age of 94! Shatner is only about a year younger.
