I'm SO with you. I told it to my girlfriend and announced it on Facebook, mostly to deafening indifference. Ah well.

At least we have each other.

Now you know what I have been going through for the past year and a half.

The only people I could tell didn't care about it. And the people who cared,
I didn't dare say anything. To the very few people who kept my secret,
    Thank You.

It is my understanding that we should be able to buy a quantity of Green Arrow
    as a group from mattycollector.com

Here's to hoping Hasbro hops on board and we get Marvel stuff as well.

I think the mixed feelings are coming from a place where, in regard to vintage WGSH collecting and customizing, it feels a bit like one era is passing and a new era is beginning. Still very excited...but a little bit, "awww."
That's big on my mind too, places like this might actually see an upsurge in newer collectors but I can only view that as a positive and EMCE trek and Apes has had that happening for two years now.

I remember when Toybiz first announced the Famous Covers figures. They swore up and down they would be like the second coming of Mego and when they were released they were 9 inches tall and ugly.

I agree. My first reaction was just...wow...I can't believe they're doing this, really doing this (not FC/Origins doing this). I'm still in awe a bit, with mixed feelings, but mostly good. I definitely like the look and think it's respectfully appropriate.

This exciting news couldn't make me any happier. It's nice to see Mego Like figures make a comeback. Green Arrow looks better and it's nice that in addition to Superman, we finally have a Mego style Lex Luthor in his Legion of Doom costume. Along with Green Lantern and Sinestro. The only one they did not have a photo for is John Stewart. But I'm hoping that the Batman characters will surface and that we will finally get Megos of the Flash, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, the Atom, and other DCU characters as well as hopefully seeing many of the veteran figures return.
    Cheers.

I kept wondering why the FC Spiderman not only had bags on his hands, but a sewn on bag on his head. I mean, that makes crime fighting real hard. At least Mego Batman had oven mits...which meant USE OF THE THUMB!

I'd agree, I felt compelled to pick the odd one up but never ever considered displaying the two alongside each other. These? That's a different story.

WOW! looks like they're trying to maintain the Megoesque essence and pick up where Mego left off which is good!

I think that's where the famous Covers and the Origins figures failed.
