    Yes. This.

The early issues of the Marvel Darth Vader comic series were VERY good. If they adapted those, or they stuck to the spirit of them, that would be great.

Boba Fett himself could have been better, but was held back by the director.
Yeah, exactly. When Rodriguez wasn’t behind the camera, the episodes were considerably better. And I like Rodriguez, but for whatever reason, he just wasn’t a good mix with Star Wars.

For what it’s worth, even Temura Morrison wasn’t happy with the direction they took the character, stating he felt like the character spoke way too much in the series, to that point that he even tried to remove some of his own lines from the script.

I think a series of self-contained episodes featuring Fett hunting bounties across the galaxy would’ve been amazing, but alas, that ship has sailed.

I'd say your assessment is pretty spot on.

If it’s Star Wars or Star Trek, I always give it a shot, because they are franchises that many of us have enjoyed tremendously through the years. I’m just honest about how I feel about a bad product, even if it’s one I love and want to do well.

I didn’t like R1 or TFA. The Mandalorian was good, but that’s because Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni were in charge, instead of Kathleen Kennedy. If the Mandalorian had featured Boba Fett in the title role and changed almost nothing else, I think the show would have been even more well-liked by fans.

i'd totally be into a Vader series set between Sith and New Hope. Or even between New Hope and Empire as he hunts for the rebel base

I'd watch Darth Vader read Imperial training manuals.
