This one has the authentic feel of the original trilogy...not those video game looking prequel ones.

Looks awesome. Love Han's dialogue saying the Dark Side and the Jedi are real. Fantastic!Leave a comment:

No, the Death Star looking thing on the poster is Starkiller Base. They built their super weapon into an actual planet this time.

The name is a nice touch, though.Leave a comment:

I thought it looked good. I was already excited for the movie... the trailer didn't do anything to diminish that. I find the new characters intriguing. And to each his own, but I love the new droid...
Looking at the movie poster, earlier... and then that line from the villain about "finishing Vader's work"... they don't build another Death Star in this one, do they?Leave a comment:

Do you mean Kylo Ren? That's not Luke.

Han is rumored to die at the end. But it's just a rumor and could even be misinformation.Leave a comment:

POTENTIAL SPOILERS:
Someone pointed out that there may be two dead characters seen at the 1:45 mark. Let's hope not!

^Kind of looks like they want us to think that, at least. I wonder if Luke isn't a wild card character. We do see what looks to be his hand touching R2, in a shot from one of the earlier trailers.
I'm stoked. Let's go see it!

I thought it looked excellent. Everything about this treatment seems to be hitting all the right buttons with this old-timer.Leave a comment:

I thought the trailer was just perfect, especially the musical score.
The TIE fighters might be only the First Order colors, but they do match that one planet, like basic camouflage.
Nice to see a good control bridge of a large ship.
Can only guess what all the characters are thinking.
It does make me wonder if the big X-wing combat is near the conclusion of the film.
Everything was fantastic!Leave a comment:

Feeling like I'm 13 years old again in early 1980, anticipating the release of The Empire Strikes Back. Didn't really have that feeling in 1999. Last time I felt like this was in 2009 just prior to JJ Abrams' Star Trek(I also happen to like that movie and Into Darkness, BTW.)Leave a comment:

I agree. It also looks forced on all levels and points. Trying to take every single micro second from the original's and add it to the new movie to try and tie them together. The original films were magic and in a time that made them so. They cannot be recaptured. The Prequels proved that in spades. They were a horrible cash grab with the worst plot dialog and characters ever put down in movies. Say good bye to Han Chewie and Leia..Leave a comment:
