Star Wars A New Dawn. Anyone else read it?

A New Dawn is the first book released in the new continuity that links the books and other media in official canon with the movies.

It introduced the Star Wars Rebels characters Kanan and Hera and gives the back ground story on how they meet. It starts a little slow but once it gets going it's a fun and exciting read. When it was over I really wanted to read move about Hera and Kanan and the adventures that lie ahead of them. You really grow to like the characters. At least I did.

    Very mild spoilers.

You do get a little background info on Kanan and who he was before the Jedi purge of Order 66. Zeb, Sabine and Chopper aren't in it. The New Hope era Empire is in it. Stormtroopers, Tie Fighters and Star Destroyers. No clones. Even though Kanan is holding his Lightsaber on the cover, he never actually uses it in the book.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
