SW is 35 years old, Empire is 32 years old, and next year is the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

It makes me feel old.

There's something about those movies that is special. I hated seeing Lucas trash them with the Special Editions. I'm also not that enthusiastic about everything the the Star Wars brand but the originals are still very close to me.

According to an article I read earlier in the week, today's the 35th anniversary of Star Wars opening.

Doesn't seem that long ago, but then again it does.
