How about we re-cast the role with an actor that can speak english lines even less effectively than the previous 2 actors who played McCloud. Then cast Van Damme in the old Sean Connery role and the actor who played Sinestro as the adversary.

I always thought Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond from "Lost") would be perfect for a "Highlander" reboot.

Including the debacle that was Highlander 2.

I am of two minds when it comes to this.

While I adored the original movie and the TV series, I'd like to see them left alone as part of the era that made them.

However, that doesn't mean that a GOOD reboot can't be made.

As long as the script, actors, ACTING, and producers don't suck.

If even ONE part of the reboot is terrible, whether it be the script, actors, sets, costuming, etc.; then the whole thing will have been a waste of time, money and effort.
