Imagine our first encounter with an alien civilisation.
We go to their home world, where everyone has a a complete collection of Dr. Who episodes, picked up from transmissions that went out into space: "Weesa think it's our favorite show from your planet Earth!"

Nah. I've heard aliens will sound more like Ricky Ricardo. The females will more than likely sound like Lucy.

Yes. Mostly. They can sell them, burn them, or string them up like holiday tinsel if they own the actual film.... but they can't show them publicly.

Who owns the actual films that's been found ?

I know the BBC has right to the content but what about the actual film ?

Every episode found is good news!

And I can think of some episodes that should get lost, IMO...

actually alot of the lost stories aren't very good (i've seen recons of all of them as well as the audio recordings issued by the BBC) and underwater menace and galaxy 4 aren't great stories. I'm glad they were found and like any collector it was the blind luck that something he didn't collect was in his collection so he didn't know how important it was
