I enjoyed the deleted scenes but how many were annoyed by the navigation. My blu ray player is an earlier one and is not too quick about locking onto an HD clip. So the menus are set up so you go through the episode number and then the planet the portion of the film takes place on and then there are the deleted scenes only relating to that planet. No play all or anything. I probably spent 90 minutes accessing an hour's worth of deleted scenes. -
I watched some of these with my son this weekend, after 30 plus years of wanting to see the Biggs Darklighter scenes, I'm sort of glad they weren't in the final picture.
The extended Cantina scene was a treat and I sort of enjoyed seeing the Wampa attacks, even if they looked "Doctor Who from 1979" bad.Leave a comment:

seen all the deleted stuff, just wished that Lucas used more female/alien pilots and would have rather watched that bunker shoot out than some of the slapstick ewok~stormtrooper stuff.Leave a comment:

I dunno; even back in the glory days they did all sorts of add ons and also-rans. Death Star Droid as part of the SECOND wave? Imperial Troop Transport and Droid Factory weren't from the movies. Neither were the mini-rigs. (Although I know they make a lot of the hardcore collectors cringe....)
I'd MUCH rather see a new guy over ANOTHER Vader. Even as a kid, a completely new guy would have given me an opportunity to make up his story on my own.
