I agree with the lame part. The thing is, when the Doctor first met River, she was older... But he wasn't in love with her then. He's yet to really fall in love with her. He barely trusts her at this point.

Now he knows that she's Amy's baby... And at some point down the road he's going to fall in love with her? It's kind of creepy to me. I can get past him dating a younger woman, because he's hundreds of years old... But once he's around them as a baby and is like "give a few years and I'm gonna hit that"... I get a bit weirded out.

I can only hope that Amy and her offspring get sucked into some sort of time vortex worm hole and are erased from existence.

Indeed. And the end title says, "Let's kill Hitler!", as the name of the coming episode. YouTube has some of the scenes already uploaded...

Let the speculation begin! There's a clip on BBC America called "Time Runs Out." It shows a hand holding the Sonic Screwdriver and the light on it going out.

I was thinking the opposite, considering Kingston is easily old enough to be Matt Smith's mother

In real life she's older than Christopher Eccleston

I liked last night's show very much. I'm glad to see ole Ror back in his centurion digs. I still don't like Amy though or the way she treats him.

Like I said before, I miss the days of nice self contained stories not being bogged down with never ending story arcs --- which many times invade on the episode at hand.

Was just watching Pyramids of Mars last night and it hit me how refreshing it is to see a story from start to finish --- and when it's done I felt like I ate a good meal and felt satisfied

These new stories never do that for me.

They make me feel like I ate a half a burger and somebody grabbed it and ran away with the rest.

    Hmmmm....

It was alright; but kinda lacking in the emotion department. So.... the Doc is gearing up for a fight with these dudes we've never heard of, and he scours the galaxy for a team of heroes we've never heard of, and they sort of do some stuff.... I would have MUCH rather found out what that Sontaran did to get demoted. And yeah; what happened to the cybermen?

Not sure what to make of that teaser title at the end.

The "making of" was better than the episode!
They kind of cut out the most of the battle, watching the making of.
It's like Star Wars, but without the wars.
"Let's go blow up the Death Star!!!"
Next scene: "OK, we blew that up real good!!!..The End.....

My favorite moment in the new series was when the Daleks and Cybermen faced off, and both refused to identify themselves to the other.
In the end, the Cybermen boasted, using the name "Cybermen", and the Dalek said triumphantly "you identified first", as in a game of chicken...

I did like the gold/brass style Daleks, but didn't like the humpback Morris Mini style new ones. They looked like cars for midget secretaries.
(No offense intended to little people, or secretaries....)
