I'm off from work today and watching Tron Legacy again on Blu Ray. LOVE IT! I hope they make one more movie to make this a trilogy. I would like to see Dillinger return to seek revenge on Flynn. It would bring the story full circle.

Watched it last nite on B-R, and gotta go against the grain here.. I didn't much like it. It never engaged me from a story perspective, and while the SFX were indeed impressive (except for young JB/Clue, who only kinda worked) and perty to look at it, there was lots of yawning and clock-checking involved for me.

I saw the original in '81, and I definitely poured my fair share of quarters into the video game back in the day too. So I really wanted to like it...

That was covered in the movie, and the time from the original movie to the sequal was covered nicely in the marvel comic

I also missed it at the theaters. Will probable get my first look thanks to DVD. A little worried about the "Clu is now the villain" aspect. I mean didn't MCP and Sarc de-rez him in the original 82 Movie. Also I have Tron on DVD and the 20 year anniversary DVD. If you liked the movie the anniversary DVD is packed with goodies for ya.

I initially felt ripped off when I was forced to pay to watch it in 3-D, but it was worth every penny! I just wish I could have seen it at an eye max.

I thought it was great. Not as action-packed as say, Total Recall, but it doesn't have to be.

If you enjoyed the original Tron, you will be fascinated to see where the story goes from there. It picks up years later with Fynn going back into the computer but not returning. His son decides to go in to find him. It's a great story with cool effects and a few surprising cameos. I would watch the original first to refresh your knowledge of that story though. You'll appreciate Tron Legacy that much more. I will be buying both on Blu Ray when they are available.

    Tron Legacy

Never got a chance to see the movie in theaters but see it is being released in early April to DVD along with the original Tron if you want it. I seem to remember the original Tron movie was good but I haven't seen it since I was kid.

Is this one worth buying or just a good rental?
