^ No Twilight Zone in Belgium? Do you get Sci-Fi channel (sorry, I know it's old spelling but I hate writing SyFy....Uh....DOH! ) ...they have TZ marathons on July 4th and Jan 1 every year.
Yeah we do. Actually, when I got it it was still called Sci-Fi Channel, it only changed into SyFy a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately, it's not the US SyFy, it's the Dutch one, with their own programming
Sifi Played the hour ones to death on there weekly block programing,
I like one Martin Balsuem , is wax Museum curator, and serial killer
I hate where they cut , key moments to put more commericals
Now that I think about it the only hour episodes I ever remember seeing on TV (during late night marathons) were ....The Bard and Jack Klugman on the Forbidden Planet ship
I think by virtue of their nature, the hour episodes never get played unless they are incorporated into a marathon...and even then it's usually during the overnight hours or a small block during the day. I think only once did I see a TZ marathon that devoted a large portion of the schedule to the hour shows.
I dont know if u lot have heard of "thepiratebay.com", but I just downloaded all the episodes, in great quality, took me about week and a half, check it out.
There are a few other episodes that were originally not part of the syndication package for one reason or another....several of which were because they were lawsuits involving certain episodes based on the assumption that story ideas/plots were swiped. Not sure if these have since been resolved and are once again part of the package.
^ To my knowledge "Owl Creek Bridge" will never been shown in syndication....I think it has something to do with the fact that it was a short film that was purchased for but not produced specifically for TZ. The original purchase was for two airings during the original run of TZ (first time and then one re-run). They were able to include it in the DVD sets though.
