Actually, yes. I don't have the dress made yet, but I have a good match for the plaid and decided that it should be medium blue. I have pics on my Photobucket page, I think they're in the Props folder. There's a pic of the fabric there, but I've since lightened it a little using RIT dye remover. I don't think I ever told you, that I had bought an original Brikette on eBay, planning to use her. While corresponding with Brikette collectors in a Yahoo group and taking her to a doll show to look for clothing and wigs, I grew to like her. So I decided to keep my first Brikette, and have the limbs and head from a broken one for my project. Progress has been slow, but that's because I'm attempting to film the steps I took to make her. The arms and legs are attached to a walking doll torso, and the arms now work. The head is not attached yet - I'm having some trouble with that. I found a wig in the right style/color, but haven't had a chance to get it yet.
Ray, you're right, they did use a Vogue Brikette as Talky Tina. I mentioned the one I'm working on in another thread, but I don't recall how much detail I went into. I've noticed that they made multiple prop dolls for the episode. I don't know if they hade one that moved and at least one other that didn't, or if one got broken, or what. In screen shots, you can see variations in the dress, plus the one that Telly Savalas throws, as well as steps on, doesn't shatter. The moving one had either a replacement torso from a windup walking doll, or custom-made mechanical parts. The walking doll I used isn't a perfect match, but the movement looks great. Brikette was available in 16 and 22" versions, and the 22" was used for Tina. There weren't really a lot of style variations, mainly the shoulder-length hair with bangs and a ponytail version. She was sold with several different hair colors though. On eBay I've seen brunette, light blonde, and red(the most common) hair. Talky Tina's hair was most likely a wig from a nearby store or doll hospital, as opposed to a reroot. It's definitely a different style than Brikette was released with. If you want, check out the pics of mine. She's a cool doll, and a lot of people asked me questions about her at the doll show. I'll display the original one with the custom Talky Tina, and if she turns out well, I might make another one someday without the moving parts, just for fun.

Me too! Did you guys know shes based on a real doll sold back then named Vogue Brikette Doll? She came in a variety of hair styles....They pop up once in a while on Ebay,...and if you buy her,...you have to be nice to her,..or she will kill you......
