I agree with you, there's the deal with Weaver, Cromarty/John Henry having Cameron's chip and what " will you join us " means. Join us and do what?

At one point i thought we were in for some Robo lovin' when Cameron undressed and told john to get on top, there's been a lot of tension between her and John this series. I would be tempted in his place, she's hot.

Still don't quite understand how Shirley is a "good" T-1000 as she has slaughtered a bunch of people to keep secrets.
The I Love You was supposedly from Sarah Conner from the past outside the time bubble via that one last bit of residue "time electricity".

I don't think Terminators can ever be "good" or "evil". As we learned from Cameron, they are creatures of programming. If it isn't in her programming parameters, we've seen that she will not prevent bad things happening to humans.

I think the Shirey Mansonator is simply programmed to prevent Skynet as we know it from forming. That is consistent with her behaviour. She kills people just as Reese has killed for the "greater good", but it all comes from a different place. The people she's killed seemed to be involved with Skynet development somehow (outside of her purview).

I have heard it's one of the shows that could go either way in regards to being renewed (along with other shows I love like "Chuck", for example) but I hope they bring it back. It is one of my faves.
Still don't quite understand how Shirley is a "good" T-1000 as she has slaughtered a bunch of people to keep secrets. But then again, she could've just skewered John right there in her office and not said a word if she wanted to. Not like anyone could've stopped her.
Seems like she has an ulterior motive that she somehow still needs John alive to complete. I don't think she's "good".

    The way I understand it.
The show almost got canceled after season 1.
It was too expensive and the ratings weren't high enough.
The studio cut the network a discount on the licensing costs to keep the show going for a season 2. They figured it would be a good way to keep interest up and give the new movie a better shot.
Ratings still weren't good in season 2 though, so FOX movied it to Friday where ratings expectations are not so high.
The reason most think it will be canceled is that most believe that after the release of the new movie, the studio will jack their price back up, and FOX will not go for it. As those fees, in conjuntion with the normal costs of the show, and paying the actors will be too high.
Which is also why there probably will be no chance of it moving to one of the cable networks.

Now, if the studio doesn't raise the price back up again.
And with the slimmed down cast thanks to so many being killed off this season. Then there still would be a chance of getting a season 3.
But that is highly doubtful according to most of the online pundits.

She definitely has a real Rock Star presence.

It might be this video for The World is Not Enough that inspired her casting in Terminator...

I think DVD sales do start to impact in some ways. It's the reason why Family Guy returned, ditto Futurama.

You also have things like the Babylon 5 movies, Dead Like Me just returned with a new DVD movie (and I believe Farscape and Stargate have had direct DVD movies too right?).

The popularity of Firefly on DVD was what greenlit the Serenity feature.

There are probably other examples I'm blanking on right now.

From what I understand/believe, they are playing around with different universes/timelines/dimensions. The basis for my theory is that Jesse (the Asian Aussie Angelina Jolie wannabe) is not the Jesse from Derek Reese's future. When John and Sarah temporal leaped out of the bank, they may have changed the future in which they were destined as well. The whole show is based on the concept that they delayed Judgement Day at the end of Terminator 2. Very Trekish if you ask me, in that it allows them to screw with "canon" without necessarily tying the hands of future movies (such as Salvation). Either way it was a good show, and I am betting that the future of the show may rest in the success of the movie.

Too bad if it's really being canceled...The Sarah Chronicles is the only show I watched faithfully out of the big four Networks (ok, I watch Celebrity Apprentice and Hell's Kitchen too, lol)...I mostly stick to cable stuff.

BTW...IMO...the actor who stole the show was Shirley Manson (the liquid Terminator)...I didn't know who she was before until this show...apparently she's the lead singer for Garbage...and this was her first acting gig. I like her...she has an interesting face/look...and I love her accent, lol.
