I like ROTJ best (also the nub nub song). Does that make me a bad person?

    followed by:
    SW
    Empire
    (big gap here)
    Clone Wars
    Revenge
    Attack
    Phantom

The Clone Wars series and toys are really the only modern toys I'm into at the moment. They are great, stylized and there's not enough of them to make you break the bank collecting them.

ALL of the Star Wars films have things that make you go hmmm, but the newer ones were not a part of my childhood, so they didn't get off as easy. I teach high school art and the newer films are LOVED by my students while the old ones are just glazed over. Darth Maul and Mace Windu are by far the most popular.

Like I said, all of the films have entertained me, but a few of them, like Phantom Menace, are hard to rewatch (although from the point the music kicks in at the end of Phantom Menace where you see Darth Maul flash the double lightsaber the whole movie rocks).

Return of the Jedi is the worst of them all because, like the original poster said, Empire left off on such a note that the movie took what had been built up and pooped all over it.

I love the Clone Troopers. I have loved the CGI show too. The last three episodes were great.
Had they been released without the Star Wars title and the characters given different names it could have been a decent sci fi series. But it essentially pooped on the original trilogy.

Oh and I remembered another Star Wars thing I liked - The animated Clone Wars shorts.

I just thought of another thing ......

    R2 D2 can fly ?

Why didn't he do this in the original trilogy ?

    Man, the prequels really suck.

I really can't think of one good thing to say about any of them.

I like Star Wars and Empire, Jedi is alright but it's a real sign of things to come.

Those other movies just ain't for me, they made me less of a Star Wars fan.

The %^#$@% kid across the street exposed my kid to the wonders of the Clone Wars the other day, so all that sheltering I did is out the window with the boy.

He's actually not as bad an actor as he seems to many in the SW movies
    (neither is Portman!)

Unfortunately his approach was to imbue a stilted "Vader-like" dialogue
accent into his portrayal ----it killed it for many.

I had bigger problems with CLONES than that accent.

It's hard to make an "order" but if I did, then THAT^^^
    would be it.

    I don't totally hate CLONES and PHANTOM---still---
I kinda wish REVENGE OF THE SITH was the only
sequel made to the original trilogy.

A good idea would have been to split the events of SITH up into
2 or even 3 movies---THAT story was really the most important one.

Some flashbacks would've helped accentuate it if it was done that way
even IF flashbacks aren't a STAR WARS device normally.
