The federation can time travel.
If they really wanted to be nasty, they could just go back in time and kill Vader as a baby.

A big thing is always made about the Death Star being able to destroy a planet.
The Genesis torpedo can also destroy a planet.... and technically can be fired from almost any ship.Leave a comment:

The Jedis, lol...another bunch of inept idiots...99.9 % of them were taken out by "I can't shoot for the life of me" Stormtroopers, lol.

One mosquito bite took out that overrated Death Star...so get the heck outta here with that one, lol.

A Death Star can take maybe a couple of Borg cubes, but the third one would assimilate that round pile of crap...checkmate, game over, lol.

Star Trek EASY.
I've never seen such a bunch of inept ships as the ones in Star Wars.
The Enterprise is a Ferrari...a Star Destroyer is an Edsel, lol.
The Federation, the Romulan Empire, the Klingons, the Dominion/Jem Jadar, the Cardassians, the Borg, Q...against the inept Empire, the even more inept Trade Federation, and a bunch of Rebels?
The Borg would turn Vader into a toaster, lol.

P L E A S E...lol.

Star Wars wins. Alas, Spock and Kirk then jump in a time machine and fix things so Star Trek wins. Notably, Padme still dies. However, she's now played by Joan Collins. In a freak side effect, fans of both genres suddenly become love gods to all the ladies, and the surest way to get booty on a Friday night is to wear a Boba Fett costume to the local nightclubs.Leave a comment:

Well, I think Trek has the advantage as far as technology. All the weapons in Star Trek seem more advanced than what they have in Star Wars. Phasers will slice and dice any ship from Star Wars. The advantage Star Wars has is sheer size and numbers. The Imperial and Rebel ships dwarf most Starfleet vessels. They have more power tho their weaons are less sophisticated. Also Star Trek doesn't have fighter ships. I can see wave after wave of tie fighters attacking the Trek ships in a battle. As long as the shields are up it's no problem but can they adequately target and destroy the endless supply of fighters which are far more manuverable? At some point the Trek ships will run out of power and get worn down unless they can retreat and re-group. If the Borg and the Empire went up against each other I don't think a Borg win would be guaranteed. Any battle would not be so simple. It would depend on many different things.
Can Trek fight the power of the Force? The Vulcans are telepathic but could they withstand the Force? Maybe it wouldn't even affect them? As we saw in Epsiodes 1 & 6 some beings are immune to the Force. Watto and Jabba cannot be influenced and strangely enough they are non-humanoid. Does that mean only humans can be swayed? Would we have to see Horta or Gorn marines take on the Empire? Vader and The Emperor have limits too. Notice that Vader has not choked anyone using the dark side fo the force that he could not see. Otherwise why didn't he choke Han Solo to prevent the Falcon from getting away in Empire? Or Lando or the Princess when Luke was rescued in that same film? Why not use the Force to prevent the torpedo from going down the shaft in Star Wars and save the Death Star? Also in Star Wars tho his tie fighter spun out of control Vader had to regain control of it himself. He relied on his pilot's skills. There was never any indication of him using the Force to get out of that tight spot.Last edited by johnmiic; Dec 23, '08, 12:32 PM.Leave a comment:
