Man, way too many to pick just one. But I’ll say The Exorcist. Maybe Evil Dead, Night of the Living Dead. Does Silence of the Lambs count as Horror? -
The Invisible Man. From 1933, starring Claude Rains. Very excited for the new Mego figure of him coming in wave 14!Leave a comment:

I am not a horror fan, I don't watch them them but the scariest thing I saw as a kid was the commercial for Magic, I bring this up because an ad for the Chucky USA series was a homage to that 70s movie..Leave a comment:

Difficult to choose, but probably The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Perhaps Bride of Frankenstein. I suppose I like my horror tinged with a bit of black humor.Leave a comment:

I like my horror with a side of sci-fi, so for me it would be Alien or The Thing. I am also a fan of the Universal classics and the Hammer stuff I've seen (not as much as most here), and a handful of other horror films/properties, but slashers utterly bore me, so I can't count any of the major 80s horror properties among things I am a fan of.

It’s hard to pick one, but if I had to, I’d probably say Dracula starring Bela Lugosi, especially the first half of the film.
I really enjoy all the Universal classics (Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Wolfman, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon), though.
Huge Hammer fan as well, and love Vincent Price’s horror films too.
I quite love the original 80’s legends (Halloween, a Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th).
For monster mashups the Monster Squad is the best, by far.
Since the 80’s it’s been hard to find really good American horror films. The Sixth Sense was brilliant, as was the first Saw picture, but other than that I can’t think of anything that really gripped me.Leave a comment:

I have never seen American Werewolf in London, Dawn of the Dead, Deep Red (haven't even heard of it) nor have I watched ANY Hammer horror movie ever. I think I'm missing out.
My love for horror focuses on Universal Monster classics, Freddy, Jason, Myers and some others like Fright Night, etc.
I may check some of these out.Leave a comment:

Halloween is my favorite but there are a bunch that are right up there. The Wolf Man, Bride of Frankenstein, The Haunting, Fright Night, Horror of Dracula just to name a few.
If you count Jaws as horror, then that would be my number one.Leave a comment:

i'm not really a horror film buff, but I guess if I were to pick one it would be the original Dawn of the DeadLeave a comment:

Mine is the Wolf Man with Lon Chaney. It’s the first movie we watch every October to kick off the season.Tags: None
