I have always been partial to minotaurs, and cyclopses, but haven't seen any particluarly cool minotaurs in the movies, I suppose the ones in Narnia were pretty cool.

I always really liked Christopher Lee as Frankenstein but then again, I'm a soft touch for a longshoreman coat.

The Grendel creature in Beowulf was very scary yet cool-looking as well.

Crispin Clover did a great job too.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon always wins in my book!

    Also:

Karloff & Glenn Strange's version of the Frankenstein Monster

MechaGodzilla - all versions, particularly the original and the millenium versions

    Mechani-Kong from King Kong Escapes
(I love giant monsters that are also robots -- best of both worlds!)

And that new Benicio del Toro Wolfman is looking pretty cool...
