Godzilla v KingKong...Kong looks like an old wino. I too prefer War of The Gargantuas ( the brown and the green look like old winos too). Remember the scene you fellers are talking about when green eats the girl??? The song she sings in that scene is "the words get stuck in my throat-the words get stuck in my throat", then she gets stuck in green's throat and he spits out her clothes.
I Think Nicholas Cage looks like the Brown monster i think they were sepersted at Birth....He could play Son of the Brown monster if they ever sequel it....lol!
Ah The words get stuck in my throat, somebody did a cover of that once.
I can't believe no one has mentioned "Majin", though long to deliver, the ending is scary and well done, especially when the guy looks out the window and Majin turns and sees him.
Devo Did a cover of that song......My sister loves to annoy me by singing this song on my answering machine. We use to hope that the Green monster would eat her for singing that song lol!
Remember " Jet Jaguar " ? He was in one of the Godzilla movies. Cool robot that teamed up with Godzilla to take on a monster! For some reason they never used him again.
JJ is from Godzilla VS Megalon, not exactly a high point in Godzilla's career although I am a fan.

I also liked the Mecha Kong movie, again I feel they should have used him more.

Actually, he eats a different woman. He does grab the singer and attempts to eat her, but is stopped by his brown brother. Which is a pity, because anyone who'd sing that horrid song is kinda askin' to get monster-et

I just read on Wikipedia War of the Gargantuas was actually a sequel to Frankenstein Conquers the World.
I never put the two together.......
Interesting.
The US version removes the connection, so it's not because you weren't observant.

......film's alleged anti-American sentiments. Scenes of US soldiers being killed by the Godzillasaurus were shown on the network, and the plot featuring evil Westerners from the future was debated
Yep, that's the one.
To be honest......
Godzilla 1985 was my last fav Godzilla picture ......
I tried to like Godzilla 2000 -- and it did have its moments, but I just can't get into anything after G-1985.
What was the Godzilla movie where -- They showed Godzilla's origin -- He was a dinosaur living on a Pacific island in WW2 ... Something happened to him and became the Godzilla of today ?
I seen that one really late on Sci-Fi about a year ago -- fell asleep and never caught the end.
I believe this is the movie: Gojira vs. Kingu Gidor (1991)
I've seen part of it myself, but not the whole thing. I always preferred vintage Godzilla over modern Godzilla movies.

Those new disks of the early Godzilla flicks are very nice. I HIGHLY recommend the original this way; it's got both versions and a very informative little booklet.
Y'know, I was always partial to "The X From Outer Space" even though it's a really bad movie. "Godzilla: Final Wars" is good too. (I actually know someone who looks, sounds and acts just like Captain Gordon. He used to be CO of my regiment.)
