The tail really gets in the way when trying to display these guys.
You gotta love those knock-offs- though the one I have not seen before is the smaller Zilla on the bottom right (silver stripe on head) next to the battery Op Radioshack dino. Can you take another pic of that one?

That playset is something else. It's one of those toys I only found out about when I was an adult. I only wish I had that thing when I was 10 years old. I was Godzilla crazed but Godzilla starved and I would have been so thrilled to have that set. All I had Godzilla-wise was the Shogun Warriors version, but I loved that thing to death.

I have a few that I can easily say would be favorites of mine and funny enough,
none of them were Japanese imports (all US made, if you count Mattels slight variation
    for Godzilla's gang)

    1. The Godzilla vs Tricephalon playset that Brian mentioned in the first post

    2. The 1978 Rubber bendable Godzilla from GLJ, which also thanks to a certain
someone on here I now have mint in the package

    3. The Mattel Godzilla Game (with the awesome side graphics)

    4. Of course the Mattel/Popy godzilla's gang figures (and not counting the rubber glj figure, this was my first true Godzilla toy)

    5. The various (I own one of them) 70's style artwork for these cool jigsaw puzzles from H.G. Toys:

    6. the Godzilla viewmaster reel:

    and finally

    7. the Godzilla Wonderland LP record I use to see all the time in the back of FM magazine (which I searched for many of
my young years and finally found it one day in Alexanders, for those that remember that dept store)

    For me it's this:

I can't remember how old I was when I saw this in a back issue of Famous Monsters at a used bookstore but I new it was no longer available.

At the time, I had no concept of toy collecting so I was just kind of "depressed" about missing out on the thing
THANK YOU PALITOY for posting this!!! I had that Alien Attack set when I was a kid and it was one of my favorite toys. I've tried to find out what it was for years, but didn't know the name of it or who made it. Just seeing it again made my day.

Ok, I don't have a huge Godzilla collection, but I love the super-deformed plush Nate got me shortly after we met. I've been trying to get him Shogun Warriors Godzilla for years. I'd even be willing to buy one with a missing fist and look for a replacement, if the price was right. I saw one at a toy show and was heading over to grab it. Seconds before I got to the stand, I saw the seller pull it off the shelf and sell it someone for fifty bucks!

What blew my mind was that it had the skeleton under the suit...in the store they had one displayed without the Godzilla suit on and it was amazing....
