I can see Jaws going for the Creature, and suddenly stopping.
Then you hear Spielberg's voice on a walkie-talkie saying "the shark isn't working...the shark isn't working..."

Maybe; but remember that all monsters seem to have supra-natural strength in old movies, and the Creature has really, REALLY long rending claws. He might not be able to do more than dermal damage, but I could see him hooking in like a cat and slicing his way in.

Creech is not going to do damage with his claws on Bruce unless it's right on the gills or eyes...the shark's skin is very tough (like sandpaper)...and Bruce is just too damn big and powerful...he won't even feel Creech unless his claws strikes those two vital areas...other than that...Creech is toast.

However...if Creech can flip the shark belly up...the shark will relax and go to sleep (that's how Orcas easily kill sharks)...then I can see Creech munching on his gills...so yeah...Creech has a chance...

    Hmmmm....

As someone pointed out; they'd never fight: one's a salt-water beastie, one fresh....

But that aside, I'd hafta bet on the Creature. Sharks are really only dangerous in one direction, whereas the Creech has claws on all his limbs. If he dodged the initial charge he could claw onto the shark and take it apart at liesure.

    You make a good point...

I can see the Creature getting on Quint's boat, and Scheider going "we're gonna need to get on another boat..."

And the three guys sitting around the table, comparing scars, and the Creature sitting at the end of the table going "I was speargunned, shot at and burned. I got all of you guys beat..."

I like the Gillman, but he'd be only slightly more successful than a man against a great white.

Which is to say, he'd prob. get eaten...
