There are actually lots of kids who took part in the event. It was fun seeing entire families dressed up. Even pets!

My 5 year old nieces were visiting me last year and a bunch of zombies walked by us - I was a little nervous about how they'ed take it - but they loved it. They still talk about it.

Damn, didn't know about this and I was in Toronto that day too (taking the kids to see The Wiggles in concert). Then again, I probably shouldn't be scaring the crap out of my kids by showing them stuff like this (yet..).

I visited the computer museum in Brantford this summer. I'd head over there and play pong and dragon's lair if I were stuck in Brantford during the zombie apocalypse.

It's astounding how inventive some of the costumes get.

It was really fun road marshaling because you get to see everyone participating and all the costumes, but on the other hand what a pain... one girl spit "blood" on me because I was trying to persuade her not to deface a car (and thus get arrested by one of the police in attendance).

Despite the rain towards the end, this year's event was even bigger than before.

    Plus... GWAR was there!
