If you've seen Twilight: New Moon...

The Twilight Series really isn't much horror at all. The main story is about the love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob.

There are some decent action scenes between the various vampires, the Vulturi, etc. but really that is just a back story to what is really going on which Bella trying to choose between someone she loves and wants more than nothing to become a vampire herself so she can spend the rest of eternity with someone she loves even if it causes her to become non-human. On the other hand, she is also in love with Jacob who although changes to a werewolf, is half human.

I haven't read the 4th book yet but hopefully I'll have time to jump into it over the next week or so.

I am reading Eclipse right now....I figured if I read the first two I might as well find out what happens.

I am almost at the end and must say this is the best of the series so far.
